Refund Policy
We take pride in our standard of service. We strive to ensure every customer is satisfied with their security solutions. Because our work involves custom labor and specialized hardware, we adhere to the following refund guidelines:
1. Professional Service & Labor

Labor Charges: Service call fees and labor charges are generally non-refundable once the work has been performed. This covers the technician’s time, travel, and expertise.

Unresolved Issues: If you are unsatisfied with the quality of our workmanship, please contact us within 48 hours. We will dispatch a technician to inspect and correct the issue at no additional labor cost to you, provided it falls under our workmanship warranty.
2. Hardware and Parts

Defective Parts: If a lock, cylinder, or electronic component installed by us is found to be defective within the manufacturer’s warranty period, we will replace the part at no cost to the customer.

Returns: Unused, non-custom hardware in its original packaging may be returned within 14 days.

Installed Hardware: Once a lock has been installed on a door, it is considered "used" and cannot be returned for a full refund unless it is mechanically defective.
3. Key Duplication and Programming

Custom Cut Keys: Keys cut to a specific code or duplicated from an existing key are final sale. We offer free adjustments if a key "sticks," but we do not offer refunds for custom-cut metal keys.

Automotive Fobs: Electronic fobs and transponder keys that have been programmed to a specific vehicle’s VIN cannot be "un-programmed" or returned. These are considered custom electronic components and are non-refundable once programmed.
4. Special Orders
Specialty hardware (such as specific high-security finishes, custom-ordered safes, or unique commercial exit devices) requires a non-refundable deposit. If a special order is canceled before installation, the deposit will be retained to cover restocking and shipping costs.
5. Refund Processing
If a refund is approved by management:

Credit Cards: Refunds will be issued back to the original card used for purchase. Please allow 5–10 business days for the transaction to appear on your statement.

Cash/Check: Refunds for cash or check payments will be issued via a company check and mailed within 7 business days.
